The Mama Collective workshops are designed for mums to create something special for your baby or for you! You can sip on tea, enjoy light refreshments and connect with other mums. Research has shown that engaging in creative activities as a mum, and connecting with other mums while your baby is little, is great for mental health and preventing burnout.
We offer a number of fun classes, all held at the Earth Mothers Community at 101 Palm Beach Avenue, Palm Beach QLD.
From macrame, to hand dyeing cot sheets, to baby mobiles, our classes are all about mums and bubs.
All class costs are inclusive of materials and a light snack and go for 3 hours.
Our mama workshops are perfect for anyone who is wanting to be creative while forming connections with local mums in the Palm Beach area.

What is Macrame?
Macrame is a crafting technique that uses knots to create various textiles. This age-old practice has gone in and out of popularity for thousands of years. Basic macramé has a number of different knots, with the most well known being the square knot and the half knot, that when combined, create borders (overlaid or woven) or braids to decorate bags or fabrics, flower pots, lamps, wall hangings and curtains.
Is Tie Dyeing Toxic?
Not at all! The dyes used in tie-dye are non-toxic. They are safe to use and even kids can use them and not have any negative effects. Just be sure not to inhale any dye powder and avoid exposing your skin to the dye purposefully.
