Our “Eternity Gold” swaddle has been so popula Our “Eternity Gold” swaddle has been so popular, how cute is this little one? ✨🌻

I flicked through some old photos and came across I flicked through some old photos and came across this one.

LBK (Life Before Kids). I really love this one as it was our last adventure before we met our little girl. I was 32 weeks pregnant and felt good, good enough to walk around the big ol rock in Uluru.

It was freezing at night and luckily we didn't need too many blankets as my pregnant body was like a heater. I also remember the task of getting changed inside a camper with a big belly. Putting undies, shoes and socks on when pregnant was quite the task.

Although this photo looks like I'm busting to pee (probably was) it just transports me back to camper life, the outback, silence, family time with my parents and my sister and her partner, swimming in water holes, lots of flies and time just as us 2.

We were more than excited to enter the next chapter, but we knew this was the last supper just as two.

Did you have a baby moon or have you got one planned?

3 years ago Indiana brought so much love (and sleepless nights) into our world and we're forever grateful she made us parents and me; = one very besotted mama.

So much sparkle, so much love and care for others and such an adventurous spirit. Born with so much hair and still has SO much beautiful hair!

I can't remember life without her in it. This photo was just before we left the hospital to head home.. 4 hours after she was born.

What are you doing to fill YOUR cup up today? Mine is a little meditation before bed tonight. Letting go of the day and starting fresh tomorrow. x

I love how each year World Breastfeeding Week is e I love how each year World Breastfeeding Week is expanding it's recognition amongst us.

I love reading other mama's stories about their breastfeeding journey, as did I experience something similar. We need to create safe spaces to share our journey regardless of how our babies are/were fed.

I would LOVE to see more stories and guidance offered to new expecting mama's before birth. This is an area I didn't know much about and I just expected it would be a walk in the park when really it caused me so much anxiety.

I read a quote today that breastfeeding is best until it is not, and I couldn't agree more. For me, as soon as I surrendered to mix feeding my girls with the best formula I could afford and saw them put weight on, I felt a weight lifted.

I realised that my anxiety took over my ability to produce enough milk and stress affected me in different ways.

I felt defeated but obviously relieved they were growing and I made the best decision at the time.

I tried line feeding for the first time with my second baby and it helped a bit but it was fiddly to use. Trying to hold a conversation, listen to a toddler cry and latch a newborn onto a tiny tube and your boob at the same time made me sweat. It was all too over whelming.

I'm not regretful of my feeding journey and I don't still feel as though I failed. I actually had many beautiful breastfeeding moments that I keep in my memory bank and I high five myself for trying every option I could. I'm grateful my girls are happy and healthy. The highs and lows mama's, it's all part of it and you're not alone xx

Hey Mama, Are you carrying your second baby Hey Mama,

Are you carrying your second baby? How do you find pregnancy this time around?
I admit I was nervous about adding another child to our family for various reasons but it really is the best. Here's what I found..

1. I was more confident and equipped with knowledge and tools about mothering
2. The feeling of having a newborn again just made me heart explode all over again. Add some hormonal changes in there and it's one big happy cry.
3. I had a better idea of my postpartum needs, how to prepare better for it and what boundaries to put in place
4. Seeing your eldest light up with a new baby is beautiful. You know you've done them proud by giving them a sibling.
5. I have worried less about everything with my second baby. There's no shock of "holy crap what do I do with this baby", it's just get in there again and do it like you've done it a hundred times.

Have you had your second bub already? What are the best things about having your second baby? I'd love to know. x

Whilst we enter "Leo" season, we're expected to feel the creativity and passionate energy. I've also read that it's a season to drop all self-consciousness. Letting go of others opinions of us, and to have greater confidence in ourselves.

Who else loves astrology?

I'm definitely feeling the creative vibes. I've recently just stepped back in to creative mode on new swaddle designs. This is my favourite part. To create. Happy new moon mama's xx

Hey mama, Do you have two little one's clos Hey mama,

Do you have two little one's close in age? Under 2 years old? This one is for you xx

I do want to add that these tips are what I personally found helpful.. every child is different and every day is different. Right?

Oky doky, time to head to the playground..

1. Preparation - Never underestimate how long it takes to get ready and in the car. Toddler wants to change outfit 3 times before hand remember? Plus the baby just got into the pot plants.

2. What ever you do don't forget ammunition! AKA Snacks! I call snacks ammunition because toddler's need something to get them off the swing and back to the car. It also diffuses meltdowns and is a mood changer.

3. Meet a friend - Having another pair of eyes is a bonus, having someone watch your children whilst you go for a quick pee or feed the baby is another bonus, and having an adult convo is also a bonus.

4. Find a park away from main roads. If you have a speedy gonzales toddler like me who makes a dash for anything at the drop of a hat then at least you have time to put the baby down and not lose you S%$t.

5. Don't plan too much & lower your expectations to very low.
I have lovely ideas of taking the girls to the park or the beach, play, happy, mum sips a coffee and the sun is shining.
This happens occasionally.

I plan an outing in the morning then some outdoor time again the afternoon either backyard or park close by. Some day's you get multiple meltdowns, a fussy teething baby and you forget to pack your own jumper. You question if it's worth going out at all.

6. An extra tip because it's a big deal taking them out solo 😉 Pack extra stuff in the car. We keep extra nappies, undies, change of clothes and hidden snacks just incase.

Find your own little routine, kids love that. Also don't be afraid to spark a convo with the other mum with her two kids at the park. I've made some lovely friendships this way, we're all in it together.
